A compact oilskin tarp with room to adapt
Some trips call for less cloth to carry. The 8×8 Oilskin Tarp gives you a 2.5 × 2.5 m square for a solo camp, with less weight and bulk than our 3 × 3 m model. It is a good fit when you carry your shelter on foot and keep your setup simple.
Our oilskin cotton is treated with pure beeswax and natural linseed oil. No silicones, solvents or synthetic additives.
The long-staple cotton is treated with oil and wax to shed rain. It stays breathable and quiet in the wind, bringing the familiar feel of oilskin to a smaller shelter.
Smaller size, the same choice of pitches
Nineteen reinforced attachment points along the sides and centre give you plenty of control over the pitch. Run a ridgeline, fold it into a lean-to or bring the edges down for more cover. Reinforcement at the seams supports the fabric where it is tensioned.
Handmade in Spain in Mountain Brown or Forest Green. If your camp needs more covered living space, choose the 10×10 Oilskin Tarp.
