Jauregi Beech Axe Handle
A traditional solid-beech replacement handle for Jauregi axes, shaped for balance, comfort and dependable shock absorption.
$39
Description
A good axe head deserves the right piece of wood beneath it. These original Jauregi handles are shaped from solid beech for a smooth, comfortable grip and the resilience needed to absorb repeated impact.
Choose the length to match both your axe head and the work: shorter handles favour precision and one-handed control, while longer options add reach and leverage for felling and splitting. The generous eye end follows Jauregi’s traditional secure-fitting pattern.
Each handle is a natural wooden component, so grain and tone will vary. Final fitting should be carried out carefully or by an experienced tool user.
Characteristics
- Material: 100% solid beech wood.
- Lengths: 40, 50, 60, 65 and 75 cm.
- 40–50 cm for compact, controlled work. 60–65 cm for versatile chopping and felling. 75 cm for maximum reach and splitting leverage.
- Natural grain and colour vary from handle to handle.
